When I was a child, my father brought home a bunch of computers from a local yard sale and left them with me in our finished basement. I can remember instinctively knowing how to plug them in and figure out where the wires go, glancing at the instructional books, and just typing away at command prompts to make things happen all on my own.
I guess we can call it my first taste of having a home office at approximately age 7! By the time I was 15, I had built my first computer and had it running in about 2 hours. Not knowing where this knowledge would one day lead me, I got myself a head start on learning “The Internet”. I had learned HTML programming in High School and was able to design my own websites with ease, but was not yet fully aware of my potential. Upon graduating High School, I got involved with sales and managerial positions. Being able to share my knowledge and assist people with their technological purchases was a morally rewarding task.
I kept every business card that was handed to me. I had so many I had to keep them in a filing cabinet while weighing out my career options. At only 20 years old, I moved to the mortgage banking world. It was my first job of being on my own, and learning that the work I put in will determine the outcome of my quality of living. It was an extremely difficult growth period, but being my own boss was the best thing I could have done to maximize my personal growth.
I am currently a student at Valencia College, wrapping up my degree for Computer Network Engineering. I hope to start working on my Bachelor Degree followed up with my Doctorate.
In 2007, I started both of my businesses. Cedar Tree Concepts and PC MedX Computer Services. I wanted to provide a “one stop shop” for all things computer-related for businesses. The Cedar Tree symbolizes strength in its roots with my clients, and I would like to say thank you to those that have been there with and supported me over the years, both personally and professionally. You know who you are!
I look forward to establishing further business relationships and delivering quality service and support for many years to come.
